The 62-Day Master Study System

September 1 – November 1, 2026. Each phase has a single job. Do not carry an unfinished phase forward; adjust depth instead of extending timelines.

Phase 1

Pre-Load

Sep 1–7Current

Foundation review and system setup

Focus

  • Rebuild biochemistry, genetics and immunology scaffolding
  • Set up flashcard decks and QBank tags per organ system
  • Baseline self-assessment to expose weak systems
  • Lock daily wake, study and sleep windows

Daily shape

  1. 012 × 90-minute deep blocks on general principles
  2. 0240 mixed QBank questions in tutor mode
  3. 0320-minute flashcard review
  4. 045-minute daily log entry
Phase 2

Execution

Sep 8–21

Deep subject mastery blocks

Focus

  • One organ system per 1–2 days, path plus pharm together
  • Annotate only what you got wrong — no passive rereading
  • Daily cumulative flashcard review, never skipped
  • Weekly review of accuracy by system

Daily shape

  1. 013 × 90-minute deep blocks
  2. 0280 QBank questions (40 tutor, 40 timed)
  3. 0330-minute flashcard review
  4. 04One oral explanation of the day's hardest concept
Phase 3

Cardiology Launch

Sep 22–Oct 5

High-yield cardiovascular and pulmonary focus

Focus

  • Cardiac physiology curves, murmurs and ECG until automatic
  • Integrate renal and respiratory acid-base with cardiac output
  • Drill pharmacology of antihypertensives and antiarrhythmics
  • Rebuild any general-principles gaps that surface

Daily shape

  1. 012 × 90-minute cardio/pulm deep blocks
  2. 0280 QBank questions weighted to cardio, renal and resp
  3. 03Draw one physiology curve from memory each day
  4. 04Oral simulation: explain a murmur to an examiner
Phase 4

Paced Block

Oct 6–19

Timed QBank plus weak-area repair

Focus

  • Everything timed and random — no more single-system sets
  • Rebuild the two weakest systems from your accuracy chart
  • Second-pass all flagged and incorrect questions
  • Full practice assessment at the midpoint

Daily shape

  1. 012 timed blocks of 40 questions, back to back
  2. 0260-minute structured review of incorrects
  3. 0345-minute weak-system targeted reading
  4. 04Flashcards to zero due
Phase 5

Final Push

Oct 20–Nov 1

Full-length simulation and polish

Focus

  • Two full-length simulated exams under real timing
  • Rapid Review sweep: only high-yield facts, no new material
  • Taper volume in the last 48 hours and protect sleep
  • Confirm test-centre logistics and permit details

Daily shape

  1. 01Full-length simulation or 3 timed blocks
  2. 02Rapid review of the highest-yield facts by system
  3. 03Flashcards to zero due
  4. 04Hard stop by early evening to protect sleep

Operating principles

Questions over reading

Retrieval practice beats rereading. From week two onward, questions should occupy more of your day than passive review, and every incorrect answer should generate a flashcard.

The 10-2 rule

Work in 10-minute committed starts followed by decision points, and never let a stalled block run past 2 minutes of unproductive staring. It converts avoidance into momentum.

Spaced repetition, daily

Cards scheduled by an SM-2 style algorithm must be cleared every day. A skipped day compounds — two skipped days doubles tomorrow's queue and breaks the schedule.

Explain out loud

One oral explanation per day of the hardest concept you touched. If you cannot say it cleanly in 90 seconds, you have recognition, not recall.
